Stepping Strong Marathon Team

The beloved Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest marathon and one of the most elite road races in the world. Stepping Strong is proud to partner with the Boston Athletic Association for the 121st Boston Marathon, which will take place on Monday, April 17, 2017. Support a runner or the entire Stepping Strong Marathon Team.


Stepping Strong 5K Team

Registration for the 2017 Boston Athletic Association 5K opens at www.baa.org on January 18 at 10 am. All are invited to be part of the excitement of marathon weekend while supporting trauma research and care.

Stepping Strong 10K Team

On Sunday, June 26, 22 Stepping Strong runners joined a field of more than 9,000 participants in the B.A.A. 10K race, raising more than $10,000 to advance trauma research and care. Anders Ohman, senior technical research assistant at BWH, summed up the experience this way: “It’s inspiring to see a family turn tragedy into a personal way of giving back. And I love representing the Brigham. I’m really proud to work here.”


Stepping Strong Falmouth Road Race Team

Thank you to the Stepping Strong Falmouth Road Race team for raising more than $12,000 to turn tragedy into hope for civilians and soldiers impacted by traumatic injuries and events. “To run for Stepping Strong not only brings about a sense of purpose for each run, but you also know you are making a difference for many in the years to come,” said Stepping Strong runner Krystn Lake.
