WHY WORK HERE: WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Our team works at a top hospital with world-renowned, award-winning clinicians and researchers. Each year, our office holds a Shadow Day for Development Office staff members to follow a clinical or administrative hospital employee through his/her day. The day provides staff the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the hospital to observe surgical procedures, round with residents, experience the work taking place in our research labs, attend meetings, and more.
Read more about Brigham benefits here. We offer competitive benefit time, great health insurance and retirement programs, discounted public transportation, and more!
We offer alternative schedules, possible work-from-home opportunities, and summer hours.
Each year, we hold two all-staff off-site events, as well as several working group retreats. We also encourage participation in task forces and retreat planning committees. We are always open to new ideas and initiatives to foster collaboration, community, and camaraderie in our office.
Guided by a group of office volunteers, we strive to be an environmentally sustainable office. Over the past three years, we’ve reduced plastic silverware usage from 21,000+ per year to zero, provided staff with re-useable utensils and mugs, decreased our paper usage by 30%, held fun, monthly challenges, and more!
A wide range of trainings are available via Partners, the Brigham, and third-party vendors, as well as tuition reimbursements. We sponsor one membership in a professional association and enable staff to participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Internal Job Growth:+
We encourage our current employees to apply for new or open positions within the office if they’re interested in advancement or change.
Balance is important for employees to be their best selves and to avoid burnout. We encourage staff to strive to maintain this balance. The Brigham provides resources and support for employees.
Extensive perks and discounts are offered for employees, such as discounts on gym memberships and fitness classes, car rentals, events and performances, movie tickets, phone plans, restaurants, and more.
