“My family and our team of Mighty Moose 5K Run/Walk for Ovarian Cancer participants are grateful to Dr. Kevin Elias and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. We started the Mighty Moose in honor of my wife, Jenna, who passed away at age 43 from ovarian cancer. Our goal is to help fund Dr. Elias’ critically important research project for the early detection of ovarian cancer. Dr. Elias’ blood test is already saving women’s lives and is one of the most important breakthroughs in ovarian cancer prevention in decades.”— Derek Swaim
