A message from Jonathan A. Fletcher, MD, principal investigator, J. Fletcher Lab Fund.
The Fletcher Laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a leader in developing effective therapies for advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). Physician-scientists from around the globe come to BWH to train in Dr. Fletcher’s lab, conduct groundbreaking GIST research projects, and learn the tools to develop research programs in their own countries.
Support for the GCRF is particularly important for junior investigators like Drs. Marino-Enriquez and Schaefer, who are just beginning their GIST research careers. Your generosity allows them to train at the Brigham, perform crucial experiments to test new GIST therapies, and work towards finding a cure. On behalf of our doctors, staff, and patients, please accept our heartfelt gratitude.
