The Brigham Stepping Strong Marathon Team

Run the 2020 Boston Marathon with the Brigham Stepping Strong Marathon Team and become part of an inspired community dedicated to transforming outcomes for civilian and military trauma patients in Boston and around the world. Funds raised benefit The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation at the Brigham. The center was established by the Reny family to honor the Brigham medical team that saved the life and limbs of their daughter, Gillian, who was critically injured in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

VIP EXPERIENCE:

Race Weekend

    • A night of celebration: Team pasta dinner the evening before the race for runners, family, and friends
    • Start line: Private indoor space, including bathrooms, at the start line in Hopkinton on the morning of the race
    • Finish line: Post-race celebration for runners and their families including lunch, complimentary massages, and shower facilities only steps from the finish line

Team Support

    • Training: Personalized training including fun weekend group training runs and weekday hill runs with dedicated water/snack stations
    • Expert support: Team coach, physical therapists, and a team physician to prepare you for race day
    • Gear: Branded team apparel including a race day singlet, team jacket, and other swag
    • Fundraising: Expert assistance from dedicated staff including tips, event ideas, and helpful hints to maximize your fundraising total
    • Camaraderie: Team meetings and socials where runners can meet and mingle
    • Inspiration: Speakers and surprises throughout the training season
