A message from Anthony V. D’Amico, MD, PhD, chief of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology.
The Eleanor Theresa Walters Distinguished Chair in Radiation Oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital supports mentorship initiatives led by Anthony V. D’Amico, MD, PhD, Chief of Genitourinary Radiation Oncology. Thanks to your generosity, Dr. D’Amico continues to build on his innovative mentorship efforts, which provide critical support and education to the medical leaders of the future.
In addition to the many programs Dr. D’Amico leads here in Boston and around the country, he also continues to mentor individual medical students, emphasizing the importance of work/life balance as a critical foundation for sustaining a challenging career path and providing compassionate care for patients. We are pleased to provide you with the first-hand perspective of one of these mentees, Sarah-Bianca Dolisca, MD, in the video message below. As you will see, your generosity has had a tremendous impact on Dr. Dolisca, who is one of many young physicians who will benefit from this unique mentoring program long after their training is complete. We hope you take great pride in knowing that, together, we are setting the stage for the future success of the next generation of expert, caring physician-scientists.
