Frequently Asked Questions

What is Run Your Own Race at Brigham and Women’s Hospital?
Our Run Your Own Race (RYOR) fundraising program enables individuals to support and raise funds for any area of our hospital at any race of their choice. After registering for a race, please email our running program team at team@bwh.harvard.edu to set up a call and discuss the next steps.

Can I designate my funds raised?
Yes! If there is a particular area of the hospital that you would like to support, it can be discussed further during your initial call with our running program team.

Is there a personal fundraising commitment?
We do not require a fundraising minimum but encourage our fundraisers to raise as much as possible for the area of the hospital most meaningful to them. Our running program team will support you with the tools needed to reach this goal.

What type of support will I receive?

RYOR participants will receive a Brigham race day shirt, a personal online fundraising webpage, a runner verification letter, and any one-on-one support needed. We are here to assist in the process and ensure a smooth and successful fundraising experience.

Our team will register you on TeamRaiser, our online fundraising platform that can be customized and shared with your networks.
