Grateful Brigham supporter Derek Swaim hosts the annual Mighty Moose 5K Run/Walk in memory of his late wife, Jenna. This event supports the research of Kevin Elias, MD, who focuses on prevention and early detection of ovarian cancer. Since 2019, the event has raised $1.6M.

Chasing Hope is an annual luncheon benefiting the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Hosted by Carrie Marriott and a distinguished host committee, the luncheon has raised over $1.8 million to fuel the center’s life-changing research in five of the world’s most complex neurologic diseases: multiple sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors.
